In 1978, Warren McAuley was awarded his journeyman interprovincial certificate and has been licensed since.

The interprovincial certificate is given to students with above 85% and is recognized across Canada. His studies included courses in drawing, reading and planning blue prints and plans.

Nova Scotia carpenter Warren McAuley started building in 1974. Today, his clientelle take comfort knowing he is fully licensed and insured.

He specializes in both new and restorative carpentry. And is in no rush to tear down a building just because it's seen better days. "If it can be brought back from the dead," he says, "let's do it."

Warren has a finely-tuned three-man crew. As well, he regularly calls on a local painter, plumber and electrician. " He trusts them," says his wife, Joan McAuley.
